Safety is the most important part of motorcycling. Harley-Davidson designs MotorClothes® apparel and riding gear for that purpose. Some of the essentials:

• Helmets. Virginia State Law requires that a helmet be worn at all times while on your motorcycle. Waugh Enterprises Harley-Davidson only sells helmets that meet DOT specifications. Our staff will assist you in the correct sizing for the perfect fit. This is extremely important; once a helmet leaves the dealership it cannot be returned. It is not recommended to try and guess the helmet size of the other rider.
• Leather. Leather is worn for safety as well as fashion. It doesn't matter if you're the conservative type or the radical rider, we carry an extensive line of leathers to chose from, each with its' own features and benefits and can help you make the choice that is right for you.
• Chaps. Chaps are designed to protect your legs from the elements; bugs and road debris.
• Boots. Safety again! Harley-Davidson® boots are designed for riding. Made of high quality leather, real stitching, oil resistant soles and ankle support. They also provide protection against heat and pavement.
